The competition created by the agency Scriptorama reward the best video makers

not only a challenge of creativity, but the search for a new art form. It is proposed that the competition "Ciak your book, conceived by the agency-review Scriptorama and produced in collaboration with the site of art and culture Whipart Onlus ( http://www.whipart.it/ ) and the magazine of "creative reading" Fictions ( http://www.finzionimagazine.it/ ), with the participation of publishers Editions Joker, Perspective publisher, editor Romano. You can enter the contest by choosing at least one of the nine novels in the proposed contract and creating the book trailer. The multimedia video clips
booktrailer are very common, especially on the Internet, so that many authors and publishers, do not give up to create one or more to promote their work. "This is a form of expression highly effective in promoting a book - explains Luca Pantanetti, owner of the agency Scriptorama - Which is still in the hands of amateurs and dilettantes. The products today, including those designed for large publishing houses are guilty of naivete, do not develop the full potential of the video, and often are little more than a montage of still images alternated with sequences of text. The examples come from the U.S. - where booktrailer also take the form of short films - show how this medium can achieve high goals and communication skills equal to those of a successful theatrical trailer; could become a promotional tool for the book in question but also self-narrative and art of great impact and power of expression. " The competition
your Ciak book's objective is to encourage the spread of the book trailer in the promotion of literary works by rewarding those who know how to launch multimedia titles in a new innovative and attractive. But it also comes with a view to discover the young video artists who wish to find a future career in a market - such as multimedia products for the publishing industry - which is undergoing a major expansion. "It's easy to predict that the book trailer will become an increasingly indispensable tool in the promotion of a literary work: its characteristics make it the ideal medium to advertise new books on the web." For this reason the contest will award the works, freeing themselves from either amateur, are able to be characterized by quality and communication skills, artistic projects and professional work. Through the competition, the artists who have conquered the two juries (one technical and one of the editors) reaching the final, will be interviewed by national newspapers and provided space for visibility on the websites of Whipart Onlus and fiction. The winner
designated by the Technical Jury will be awarded a contract for professional collaboration with Scriptorama for the production of the book trailer of one of the books in the agency portfolio. Editorial Jury members also reserve the right to propose cooperation agreements with the most talented film makers to production of the book trailer or other multimedia.
